Raw Results (June 23rd, 2014) - Funk Is On A Roll & Viva La Raza

Hello everyone. This 1100's episode of Raw was one of the most interesting this year, for a Divas division. We saw the #1 contender in action, Paige and Cameron on commentary, Lana and our favorite cougar, Vickie Guerrero, leaving WWE.

First we got the segment with Vickie and Stephanie about what happened last week. Vickie was put into tough position. She had option to be fired or to wrestle against Stephanie McMahon on Raw. Vickie decided to do it as she said Eddie taught her to Lie, Cheat & Steal. Watch the segment below:



Then we saw the newly named #1 contender for the Divas title Naomi facing Alicia Fox in singles action. Paige and Cameron were on commentary table. Watch it below:



We also saw Lana and Rusev's attack at Big E:



And finally, Vickie was about to face Stephanie in a match, but Stephanie decided to change it into pool match full of pudding. She brought her Divas, Layla, Rosa and Alicia to help her beat Vickie easily. Vickie wasn't easy as she looks as she threw every one of them in pool, before being pulled by Stephanie in, thus being fired by her. But, Vickie wouldn't go with that, as she pushed Stephanie in the pool and leaving with 'Viva La Raza'. Here's the segment:



Thoughts:
One of the best Raw's in recent history. Sadly Vickie Guerrero left, but she left as a true Guerrero. She never failed to entertain, and to get massive heat, but tonight we saw people chanting 'Vickie' and 'Yes' chants for her. She was one of the most prominent authority figures in recent years and I can see her in Hall Of Fame in near future.

As for Naomi vs Alicia Fox, I enjoyed it. But, what I enjoyed the most is Cameron's mic work at commentary with Paige. Cameron brought the best out from Paige and that girl is ready to turn heel. This Sunday, she will most likely cost Naomi her title shot, only to claim she deserves it more, like she did already. I can expect great match from both Divas. I didn't like that Alicia didn't have any kind of meltdown, but I guess we can't get everything right? Until next time, Excuse Me!
